3rd Grade Architects!

Our final project in 3rd grade turned us into architects! We learned about architecture and the design of all types of buildings: restaurants, schools, book stores, houses, hospitals, pet stores, and many more!

Pointillism in 2nd Grade!

2nd Grade Art learned all about Georges Seurat and his painting style called, Pointillism. We watched the Seurat episode of "Art with Mati & Dada" to see how the dot painting started.

Using the back of old pencils, we created our own Pointillism paintings!

Here's an example and some of our student work!

4th Grade Cave Paintings--Cave of Lascaux

In 4th Grade Art, we learned about the Cave of Lascaux in France. Since the cave paintings on high up on the cave walls and ceilings, we are drawing our cave paintings under the tables.

Mona Lisa!

Almost all lower school art students know that "Mona Lisa" means we are at the Zero Noise level, but it is also one of the world's most famous paintings. Our 5th Grade Art students have created a collage of the Mona Lisa using a 4 x 5 square grid. The result is amazing! What a great example of working together to create something. Each student contributed their own part to make a great big picture!

Great job, 5th graders!!
