2nd Grade Tessellations

2nd Grade Art reviewed colors and created tessellations. Using only the primary colors: red, yellow, and blue, they made secondaries and tertiaries.

5th Grade Color Theory Paintings

5th Grade Art reviewed colors: primary, secondary, tertiary. Then, we used our names to determine which color each square became. Can you guess who's picture is who's?

1st Grade Unique Trees

In 1st Grade Art, we learned about backgrounds, horizon lines, and how to draw trees. We drew realistic trees, fantasy trees, and trees from different seasons. Hope you enjoy seeing our lovely trees in the hallway right outside the 1st Grade Classroom!

3rd Grade Color Theory Collages

In 3rd Grade Art, we reviewed the primary, secondary, and tertiary colors. After completing our "Color Theory" Worksheets, we cut out triangles of all different colors. Now, we are gluing the construction paper to cardboard in pretty collages! They almost look like stained glass!

A work in progress!

Here's a sample of what the final product will look like! Can't wait to see our finished work!

Mini Me Self Portraits

Every student in 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, & 5th Grade created a "Mini Me" Self Portrait! We learned how to draw people with the correct proportions and had fun adding all the little details that make us unique! We are excited to have our work on display in the hallway outside the art classroom and in the classroom as well! Hope you can come see and guess who's who!
