4th Grade Continuous Line Drawings
4th Grade Art reviewed a lot of elements of art for these continuous line drawings: line, shape, and color. We first drew one continuous line across the paper, then overlapped shapes on top. After that, we colored each shape 3 analogous colors (colors next to each other on the color wheel).
Here's a preview of what the final pictures will look like. We all agree that it looks almost like camo!

3rd Grade Woven Paper!
In 3rd Grade Art, we learned about weaving and how to make paper look like a checkerboard. We also had fun with our hula skirts, hats, beards, crowns, and other fun things our cut paper looked like! We can't wait to finish our woven papers! They will be so colorful!

5th Grade Degas Pastels
5th Grade Art learned about Edgar Degas and his ballerinas. We also found out that he paints horses, too! First we read the book "Dance like a Butterfly" and then we sketched our ideas.
After we finished practicing, we started the final chalk pastel drawings. Can't wait to show the finished work!
