2nd Grade Scratch Art

In 2nd Grade Art, we made our own scratch art using crayons and black tempera paint.

The we scratched the paint off!

Here are some of our finished pieces!

1st Grade Easter Eggs!

1st Grade Art review patterns. Using coffee filters and markers, we draw patterns without leaving any white space! Then, we glued the coffee filter to the egg shape cutout, magically we got Easter eggs!

Happy Easter as we celebrate our Risen Savior!!

3rd Grade Mixed Media Birch Tress

3rd Grade Art learned about backgrounds and foregrounds. Using crayons and watercolor paint, we are working on creating colorful, mystical backgrounds using pattern and shape. After we finish our paintings, we will tear white paper and glue on top to make our trees in the foreground.

Can't wait to show our finished work!

A preview of what the finished work will look like! :)

3rd Grade People in Motion

3rd Grade Art learned about how to draw people! Looking at each part of a person, we simplified them into shapes. Then, arranging the shapes, the people were put into motion.

3rd Grade finished colored pencil drawings!

4th Grade Symmetrical Names

In 4th Grade Art, we reviewed what symmetrical balance means and how to make our names into beautiful works of art! Using crayons, we created very colorful drawings.
